chicago, chicago...

Hey from Chicago!  I've been here a couple of days now and really haven't done anything other than work on my blog, my local scrapbook store's blog and the upcoming retreat for my mom-in-law at the Gorilla.

David has been in meetings during the day since the moment we arrived.  His business partner, Bill, and Bill's wife, Debbie, are here too but they have been busy as well making this more of a mini vacation.

The evenings have been fun.  We've attended a couple of "hospitality suites" and had some pretty good dinners.

I realize this is a pretty sad post, but it's all I have for now.  I do have one thing to say, however... I love hotel curtains!  You can close them at 1:00 in the afternoon and the room is as dark as it is a 2:00 in the morning!  If only the bed were softer!  I would be tempted to close the curtains at 1:00 in the afternoon!  But the bed is slightly harder than the floor!

I'll try to do something more interesting between now and the next time I post.  Until then, please check out the refreshed look to Scrapbook & Etc.'s blog.

Thanks for reading!  I'll keep you posted on what's cookin'...

Don't you wish you could take your bed with you when you travel?
