Yesterday I posted a crafty picture on this blog. I've decided to keep my crafty posts on my other neglected blog, A Wandering Crafter. Let's keep crafty with crafty and personal, cooking & entertaining separate.

However, the second prompt on the crafty side of a year long art journal project got me thinking. The prompt: Just Be. Just be? What kind of prompt is that? After much thinking and breakfast with a friend, it dawned on me. Just be where you are right now.

For an hour, my friend and I simply fellowshipped together. We keep in touch on a regular basis through technology, so at times there was no conversation and that was fine. There is just something about sitting across the table from a friend that technology will never replace. I'm grateful for this friendship.

This breakfast was what helped inspire my "art" this week. I'm going to try to be more aware of "just being" in the moment.

Thanks for reading!

You're right, technology can't replace a conversation face to face.
